About me
Ryan Diepold serves as the ADR Program Manager for the Circuit Court for Baltimore County where he works with mediators, attorneys, court staff, and judicial personnel to support and strengthen the Court’s mediation programs. His work includes managing day-to-day ADR operations, developing resources and procedures, reviewing program and case data, and looking for ways to make mediation more accessible and effective for the people who use the court system. Ryan holds a master’s degrees in Conflict Resolution and Community Education while currently halfway through a doctorate in Organizational Leadership. He also serves on the Maryland Judiciary’s Workgroup on Best Practices in Court-Connected ADR.
Through his experience working with court-connected mediators and managing a court roster, Ryan has developed a practical perspective on what makes someone a strong fit for court-connected mediation. While training and experience are important, he believes that professionalism, flexibility, preparation, communication, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people are just as important.
